Lion hearts the lamb

what would you do if an impossibly beautiful boy with inhuman golden butterscotch eyes offers you his hand? Would you instinctively refuse the gesture, seeing him as dangerous rather than spellbinding? Or would you dare hold on to the mystery and try to find truth behind something unreal?

Twilight, Stephanie Meyer’s debut novel, revolves around an earthly yet irrefutably fascinating kind of relationship between a vampire and a human. Meyer takes us to sunless forks, Washington where our heroine. Bella Swan, moves out to live with her father due to some custody situation. There she meets the “devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful” Edward Cullen. But the little does she know that behind the dazzling face is a secret as dark as the night sky. Yet Bella unravels the secret – Edward is a vampire. As possible as it may seem the romance into full moon, and the tale grows grave as it morphs into climactic race to stay alive.
The twilight saga has become hot property overnight with more and more people sinking their teeth into the tomes. It’s latest and last installment, Breaking Dawn, sold 1.3 million copies on its very first day of release thus giving the vampires enough credit to take over harry potter’s throne in the best seller’s list.

The movie adaptation of twilight, starring Kristen Stewart (zathura, the messenger) and Robert Pattinson (harry potter and the goblet of fire). Rocked the box office when it hit theaters last November 21, 2008.
